"By the Dark Lady, we will cover this planet in Shadow. We will blot out the sun with her undying will."

Sinquija Cidé was a powerful Forsaken warrior and strategist, who lived and died for the crown of Lordaeron - the king and later, the Dark Lady. He was the 6th and final High Executor of the Spine, spearheading the Tirisfal 7th Regiment. A stern and sometimes humourous man. He was well liked and respected by his peers and underlings for his commitment to the cause and furious passion for his Kingdom. He was killed-in-action during the Spine Insurgency. His ashes and plated armour are kept in the Undercity's Royal Quarter.

Physical Traits[]

If one would look upon Sinquija. One would notice his eyes first. Glowing bright amber. On his right eye, there is a scar which crosses it vertically. A blue Deathguard hood covers his head. Without the hood, you can see his well kept pony-tail. His face and head are incredibly battle-scarred. The Apothecaries imbued him with a metalic bottom-jaw when he was reborn, which over the years, has had serrated steel teeth attached. He wears a ragged and filthy chainmail hauberk, with scalemail greaves and chain-linked gauntlets. He is a tall man and his voice is smooth and kind with a glint of murderous intent.

Background[]

Born in Lordaeron. Raised in a brothel, after his prostitute mother died during childbirth. Growing up, he never knew his father. His 'aunties' and the streets raised him well, if not a bit harshly. His name, Sinquijada, was bestowed upon him by a Half-Elf whore and Cidé, his father's last name was given to him by the Brothel's customer logs. When he was of age, he joined the Army.

Training diligently in the ways of war. He rose up in the ranks quickly and was well liked by his comrades. One Summer afternoon, he recieved a letter from his father, who had heard the name "Cidé" and was intrigued. The old man invited him to his estate so he could make sure that they had no relation whatsoever. When the day came, as soon as the old man saw him, he knew it was his son. Their conversation was filled with hate and apologies. Hate from Sinquija and apologies from his father. To try make amends for leaving him alone for 31 years, The old man gave him his estate and revealed him as a noble. Sinquija's father, Grimmbold Cidé the Bonefreezer, died of natural causes three days after pronouncing Sinquija his son. Then, seven days later, the Scourge attacked Lordaeron and Sinquija was torn apart by ghouls.

He died defending his father's estate. Sinquija was then reborn as a servant to the Scourge. During this time, he, as a mindless slave, welcomed a small Black Kingsnake to coil itself around his neck. The snake has been with him ever since, usually making its home in his armour. When Sinquija later broke free of the Lich King's control he named the snake Envy.

Sinquija quickly joined the Deathguard of Undercity. He had worked keeping the city safe for a number of years, untill his commanding officer at the time, told him about the elite orginization "The Spine". In which he applied to and has served with ever since.

Sinquija became the High Executor of the Spine after the Northrend Campaign in which he played a vital role, he lead the Deathguard during the Southern Barrens Conflict aswell as the Ashenvale conflict. He was also part of the initial Spine Uprising, although he had no true intention to betray the Queen at that time. Sinquija was later captured and tortured for information about the Spine Insurgents inside the Undercity Apothecarium. During this his mind was corrupted and his put in a permanent wrathful state. He then took a Deathguard contingent and his Second-in-Command, Executor Crokford to hunt down the Spine. He was killed during the resulting battle.

Equipment and Mounts[]

Like his mentor Anthraxius. Sinquija often carries weapons and trinkets with him, he carries the following:

The Scourgebane - A tainted whip given to the High Executor by Chloe Nightdragon. The whip has the abillity to damage the shadow essence inside undead. Therefore, the whip can cause excruciating pain to even the Forsaken. Only one other Scourgebane is in existance.

Bonesever and Lastditch - A pair of obsidian blades forged solely for the High Executor. They were forged from the remaining shards of his father's sword.

Deathguard's Shield - Sinquija's regulation Deathguard Shield which was given to him upon entry to the Deathguard.

Defiler's Talisman - A gold talisman hung around his neck on a chain, it bears the Icon of Torment and is used by Sinquija during prayer to the Shadow.

Executor Status Armour - Recieved during his promotion. Sinquija wears Executor Status pauldrons and Executor status boots, aswell as his Cape of Undercity.

Natasha and Natalia - Two axes of Northrend make. They were brought to Sinquija via a Hand of Vengeance Deathguard.

Cidé usually has three mounts stabled near him at anytime:

Crimson - Sinquija's Skeleton Warhorse, has been loyal to him ever since Sinquija was a mere Defiler.

The Flay-Mobile - Sinquija's Goblin-made trike. He uses it only in emergencies. It can be folded up into a small cube when not in use. Sinquija usually leaves at in his office.

Fulgrim, the Aeroshade - Sinquija's wind rider. One of his favourite mounts. Answers the High Executor's call at any time.

Abillities[]

Unholy Strength - An Abillity passed down from the time he was in the Scourge. Now that he has his mind again, he uses it to his advantage. His strength rivals that of even Berserking Trolls.

Titan's Grip - Sinquija learned this technique from Anthraxius, he then modified it to suit his fighting style. The Titan's grip allows him to fight with two-handed weapons with his Unholy Strength.

Avatar of Vengeance - Sinquija can sometimes become a physical manifestation of his Forsaken Will. This only occurs after taking hideous damage to his being. While in this mode: His glowing amber eyes burn with extreme intensity, looking like two fires coming from his cranium. He also becomes harder to take down. This is also a weakness as he cannot be stopped while seeking revenge.

Notable People[]

Grimmbold Cidé - Sinquija's estranged father. The once great warrior was know by the name Bonefreezer after defeating a Lich one winter in the Lordaeron forests. The Lich ripped his entire platoon apart, he finally destroyed the Lich's physical form by stabbing it with the Lich's own rune blade. Sinquija only met his father a week after his 312st birthday. He hated the man for leaving him alone. Grimmbold left Sinquija his sword, armour, title and estate in his will. Sinquija was a noble for 2 weeks before being killed by the Scourge.

Natasha Noval - Sinquija's fiancé in life. She was killed when Lordaeron fell. Her death bolstered his resolve for vengeance.

Defiler Redwalt Ederman - Sinquija's first comrade in the Spine's Deathguard. The two Defilers were incredible fighters when paired side-by-side.

Defiler Karl Ulrich von Heldenhammer - Another of Sinquija's comrades in the Spine's Deathguard. Together with Executor Dresta Thornton and the then High Executor Anthaxius, the five of them were known as the Company of Death.

Executor Dresta Thornton - Sinquija's front-officer when he was a Defiler. Sinquija respected Thornton's will and fighting strength above all.

High Executor Anthraxius - Sinquija's mentor and Commanding Officer when he was a Defiler. Cidé respects Anthraxius to extreme levels and wouldn't of thought twice of sacrificing himself if ordered.

Professor Nathan Black - The Spine's Overseeing Apothecary is one of Sinquija's most trusted friends. Even if neither of them would admit it.

Professor Chloe Nightdragon - The Sludge Field's Overseer is one another of Cidé's trusted friends and mentors. Often times she'll bestow some advice on him. She was the one who gave him the Scourgebane, one of his most prized possesions.

Galliard Mortime Crokford - Sinquija's Executor and Majordomo. Himself and Crokford have had a standing rivalry ever since they first faught and drew. They've recently settled their old fued during the Thandol Span Incident.
